Default No more anti-farm?

Hey, very sorry if this has been posted already, my computer's a piece of junk and can't search

Anywho, as I was reviewing the update notes, I saw this...

Does this mean the drop rate no longer decreases or the chance of rare drops no longer decreases?

Sorry, slightly chaotic lately. If the thread did weird stuff, 'twas probably my fault.

You no longer suffer reduced drops quantity or quality from farming a place repeatedly. Instead, in its place, the drop rates for parties was scaled upwards for larger parties, and significantly downwards for smaller parties.

In the the subsequent update, discussed here, the reduced overall drop rate remains in place for smaller parties, primarily solo farmers, but a list of special items was set to be excluded from it, as seen there.

The end result is that solo farming is still down from where it used to be, but not nearly to the extent of the April 19th update, and many highly tradeable items still drop indiscriminately regardless of how many party members you have.

For more information, I'd highly suggest reading through that thread in order to make your judgment.

Solo farmers are screwed... read the line below "Repeated map entry no longer reduces loot".

I have not done well group farming or soloing. I liked the way it was before the hard mode addition, many people are pretty mad and threating to quit GW because they change things every week. These changes are not needed but evidently the GW people who probably play wow think so.

Quantity of kills is what makes Solo farming still possible. Find a spot with Tons of critters that is close to a portal. rinse and repeat. (In Hardmode) You will not get all the drops as before but you still get the gold and some drops
